Dr. Wolfgang Gawrisch

Dr. Wolfgang Gawrisch, born 1951, studied physics at the University of Mainz. 1978/79 he carried out research at the Institute for Physical Chemistry, ILL in Grenoble and in 1979/80 became an assistant at the Institute for Physical Chemistry in Mainz. His industrial career began in 1980 in Frankfurt/Main. In 1994 he joined Hoechst Corporate Research and was responsible for New Business Development. 1998 he was appointed Chief Technology Officer at Henkel, Duesseldorf, and is responsible for Corporate Research and Technology.
