Product Use Test
The product use test is carried out in order to demonstrate cutaneous tolerance and cosmetic acceptance under practical conditions of use.The composition of the group of volunteers plays a decisive role in the validity of the result. Volunteers are chosen in terms of their sex, age, skin type and normal conditions of use according to the goal for the product chosen. Volunteers apply the product over a specified period of time according to the instructions, and in an interview subsequently assess the cutaneous tolerance and cosmetic acceptance of the product tested.
Two volunteers apply a skin care cream.
After the test period volunteers are interviewed about cosmetic acceptance, effect and cutaneous tolerance.
